History

In the captivating tale of Adriano Giorgio Farinola and his brothers, we're transported to the enchanting port town of Brindisi, Italy. Growing up in their father's restaurant, their passion for delicious cuisine ignited early on. Eventually, Adriano and Pino joined their brother Aldo in managing the bustling "Ristorante delle Nazione," a beloved destination for tourists, sailors, and locals alike.
Pino's pursuit of the American dream led him to Houston, where he opened Pino's Italian Restaurant with his wife Lenora. Located near the University of Houston, the eatery quickly became popular among students seeking authentic Italian meals. Adriano later joined the team, taking Pino's to new heights.
In 2003, Adriano and Vancene brought their love for Italian cuisine to Bryan/College Station with Frittella Italian Cafe, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the community. Indulge in our specialty, the Frittella, a divine fried treat from Brindisi. Lucky for us, Pizzeria Romanelli's owner, Carlo, has brought his secret recipe to College Station.
Experience our open kitchen, where talented chefs create culinary masterpieces before your eyes. We're proud to showcase our passion for cooking and our family's cherished recipes. With our chef's thirty years of experience, fresh ingredients, and a wood-burning oven, Frittella Italian Cafe offers a variety of mouth-watering dishes, continuing the legacy of our Italian roots in College Station.

Our Chef Servando Oliveros

Embrace the Unparalleled Artistry of our Acclaimed and Esteemed Chef

Servando Oliveros began his culinary career at Pino's Italian Restaurant in Houston, Texas in 1975, under the guidance of brothers Adriano and Pino Farinola. Despite his young age, Servando quickly demonstrated his strong work ethic and rose through the ranks to become the main Chef. When Pino's closed in the early 2000s, Servando remained loyal to the Farinola family and followed them to Bryan/College Station where they opened Frittella Italian Cafe in 2003. Today, Servando continues to serve as the esteemed Chef at Frittella's, where he greets guests with a warm smile and friendly wave.
